Oregon's Two Largest Herman Miller Dealers Unite
Portland, Oregon – Two of Oregon’s largest office furniture companies, Workplace Resource of Oregon (WRO) and Pacific Furnishings, are joining forces. WRO has acquired the assets of Pacific Furnishings, and the new combined business is now called: PacificWRO.
WRO and Pacific Furnishings have long been the two primary Herman Miller dealers in Oregon and Southwest Washington. Over the years both companies have fine-tuned their office furniture services to provide clients with workplace design, furniture procurement and installation services.
Pacific Furnishings is one of Oregon’s oldest companies, established in 1889 as Pacific Stationery & Printing Co, Inc. John Stirek purchased the company in 1977, and for the past 30 years Partners Tess Healey and Lynn Santilli have run the daily operations.

Senior leaders at Pacific Furnishings expressed their enthusiastic support for the merger, "As we considered options for the best future for our company, we quickly determined that WRO is the best partner to care for our team and serve our clients," said Stirek, Healey, and Santilli in a joint statement. "We are delighted to join with WRO."
The transaction agreement was signed on October 11, 2019. The staff and operations from Pacific Furnishings will relocate from their current building on SW 2nd Avenue, to a shared space with WRO inside the Lloyd Center Tower. The combined staff team of PacificWRO will be approximately 50 members.
