PacificWRO has officially signed a lease for a new 18,530-square-foot workplace and studio in 5MLK, one of Portland’s premier Class A mixed-use buildings. This relocation represents a meaningful investment in our future—expanding our capabilities while deepening our roots in the city we proudly serve.
From the very beginning, the design of our new studio has been shaped by our people. The project kicked off with a visioning session with OUI Design, engaging our entire organization in conversations around culture, behaviors, and how we use space. These insights became the foundation for our Creative Brief, a document that captures the collective vision, aspirations, and culture of PacificWRO.
Building on that foundation, OUI Design, in partnership with the PacificWRO project team, co-created a comprehensive workplace survey to center both employee and client experience. Distributed across all departments, the survey explored themes of culture and identity, wellness and belonging, daily experience, hospitality, and sensory engagement, ensuring the new studio reflects how we work today and how we aspire to work in the future.

A New View
Designed in collaboration with OUI Design, GBD Architects, and Swinerton as the GC, the new studio reflects our core values of collaboration, creativity, and human connection. Inspired by nature and grounded in the Pacific Northwest, the space is filled with natural light, warm materials, and layered textures that promote well-being and foster a strong sense of belonging.
The new workplace is being designed as both a dynamic home for our growing team and an immersive destination for clients and partners across the Pacific Northwest. Flexibility is central to the design, supporting experimentation, collaboration, focus, and moments of connection while showcasing quality and intentionality in every decision.
We’re also grateful to Kidder Matthews, who represented PacificWRO in the lease transaction.
“As our company continues to grow, this move allows us to expand our capabilities while reinforcing our long-standing commitment to Portland,” said Terry Wren, President and Owner of PacificWRO. “We’re creating a space that not only supports our team but also provides more resources, inspiration, and connection back into our community.”
As the studio comes to life, it will become a stage to showcase people, product, and innovation—highlighting the breadth of PacificWRO’s expertise while creating meaningful experiences for all who visit.
We look forward to sharing more along the way and welcoming you into our new studio at 5 MLK in 2026.
