Located in the landmark Block 216 tower, Davis Wright Tremaine’s new Portland office represents a bold evolution of the traditional law firm environment. The project involved both a relocation and an expansion, with DWT transitioning from a secondary site and growing to occupy the full seventh floor of the building.

Spanning 19,017 RSF, the office was designed to support hybrid work, employee well-being, and a reimagined professional services experience. Key furniture from the MillerKnoll collective—including pieces from Geiger, Leeway, Reframe, Highline 50, and Reff—was selected for its refined aesthetic, adaptability, and ergonomic performance.

Phase 1 of the project was completed in March 2024, with Phase 2 anticipated in June 2025.
