Furnishing a Clinic Built Around Healing
The Legacy Chronic Wound and Outpatient Burn Clinic at Emanuel Medical Center is one of the Pacific Northwest's most specialized outpatient care environments, serving patients with chronic, complex, and non-healing wounds through a multidisciplinary clinical team. When Legacy engaged PacificWRO to furnish this facility, the challenge was clear: every furniture decision would directly intersect with clinical workflow, infection control protocol, and the emotional experience of patients navigating long-term treatment journeys.
Our healthcare team worked closely with Legacy's clinical and facilities staff to deliver furniture solutions that respect the sensitivity of this care environment, balancing durability and cleanability with the warmth and dignity every patient deserves.
Leveraging Install Capabilities
Our service team’s involvement extended beyond installation. Select service team members completed dedicated training for the Commend Nurses Station, a highly technical, modular system that relies heavily on precision. This hands-on experience ensured accurate installation, maintained design integrity, and supported a seamless experience for clinic staff.
Scope of Work
Our scope included space planning and furniture solutions for:
- Exam and treatment rooms
- Reception and check-in areas
- Staff workstations and charting zones
- Patient waiting and consultation areas
- Occupational therapy and care coordination spaces
